SIX MONTH ON TWITCH!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!

WE DID IT, WE MADE IT, AHHH I have been streaming on Twitch for 6 months! And what a wild 6 months it has been! I always talk about it on stream, but come on in...let's get...sentimental. I started Choco Ichigo! when I was 13 years old, I started the webcomic when I was 22 going on 23. In the last 5 years, it has been really rough. Many days were spent crying that no one cared about my work. I always felt that no one was interested, no one like it. I only had a small corner of support. But it was with that small corner that I just kept going. It was with those people, that I became persistent, I was stubborn, they helped me believe that I could actually make something. Back in September, it was over just one weekend when I decided to start streaming. I literally said "Fuck it" and started researching the best ways to stream on a low-end laptop. I made my own overlays, I set up everything I needed, and then on that Monday I was going to start streaming. And I am so so happy that I have. By December we made it to 100 followers, by January we became Affiliate, and then here we are in March at 165 followers and I even GOT PAID! I got my first payout from twitch. That means that people actually subscribed to me, that they are sitting there long enough to watch the ads, and just...AHH! That is wild Not only is it out of this world that people have been spending time with me, sometimes 8 hours a day watching me create my art, sing horribly, listening to my chaos, but...some of them have even...MADE FANART!!! HELLO?! That is just..I...CAN'T EVEN I want to give a special shoutout to TheXosimus, who has literally been at my streams since the beginning, like...bruh, I know you hate being called Sweet, but you are such a sweetheart! You have supported me all this time and I am so happy to be able to call you a friend! artasouki, goodness sakes, it is always a joy when you pop into my chat, just...ahh you are amazing, your art is amazing, and we really need to do that collab at some point, our Haruto's need to meet! Raya, you...just...you heckin' delight! You are so precious and hold such a special place in my heart!!! The art you have made of my characters brings me such joy, I look at them all the time and it tickles me so much! BIG BIG LOVE To my MAMMA!! Who was caught off-guard when I told her I was going to start streaming, but has always believed in my creations, who is my biggest supporter, and who has even made herself a name on Twitch. I love you Mamma Choco!!! And to all the rest of the regulars, you mean the world to me. It has been so amazing getting to know you, sharing my art, and building a community where we get to support each other. This is all I have ever dreamt of, and you are making it possible! I have always believed in Choco Ichigo! it is the one thing that I felt such passion about, and it is finally getting the recognition I know it deserves.
